Where is your data?

Fern New Zealandís client software solutions are designed to be smart clients. All of your data is situated on our servers which are redundant (multiple servers) and get backed up routinely.

In addition to this, Fern stores a working copy of your data local to each station.

This means that your data is shared amongst no less than seven hard disks spread accross at least two geographical locations. This gives you an enormous amount of security and removes the pressure of having to remember to backup your system.

Fern New Zealand monitors all servers religiously and should one of the two dual servers go down, the other will continue to serve customer data. Should both go down, Fern has a standby server that will be introduced to take the load.

Our client software is smart enough to work without a connection to the server, so downtime should be minimal if at all.
